Scheduling Algorithms in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

In a mobile ad hoc network (MANET), a scheduling algorithm should operate in order to provide quality of service (QoS). QoS guarantees optimized performance of network in terms of less delay, higher throughput etc. Due to frequent change in topology of MANET, design of scheduling algorithm is quite difficult. This paper presents a survey of various scheduling techniques along with the parameters and metrics used in evaluation of these algorithms in MANET.
